Author Kevin Brooks has not stopped writing since the overwhelming success of his debut novel ‚Martyn Pig‘, published in 2002. He has won numerous awards for his work, including several German youth literature prizes and the Carnegie Medal for ‚Bunker Diary‘. He doesn’t mind being labelled a writer of books for young people, as it gives him the freedom to move in different genres, he tells our S3 and S4 students. But he also writes thrillers for adults. At the ESF, he presented his latest book, ‚The Long Road‘, which has just been published in German by dtv.
